hey, i have a small problem with PCSX2, GT3 starts and runs fine to the point where i enter a race / licence.
example, i get all the way to where im about to press race at a licence, then, before i do that, it starts to go really slow and freeze, then i get a error message and PCSX2 shuts down. oO

PC specs:
Motherboard: Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe
Ram: 2 gb cant renember the speed, but it was the highest speed the motherboard did support
Video Card: GeForce 8600 GTS
CPU: Amd Atlon x2 5600+ (2.8 ghz)

i run GT3 from a image, mounted in deamon tools, made from my own gt3 cd, so i guess my dvdrom can read ps2 games.

Edit: im using GSdx9 (MSVC 14.00, SSE2) 0.10.0 graphics plugin, windowed.
gigaherz's CDVD Plugin 0.7.0.

ask if ya need more info.

so, what your saying is that my cpu is too slow? seems odd.

It is a good cpu, for running applications made for the x86 architecture.

For emulating a PS2 though, its just not powerful enough for a fast motion game like GT3.

ok, thanks.. time to dig out my epsxe and play GT2

ill leave gt3 // gt4 for the ps2 for now, until i get a new computer

As Squall said, your system won't run this game nicely.
The crash you have shouldn't happen however.
Update to the latest versions (betas) of pcsx2 and GSdx.
