Hello there,
as said in the title, I've got a little problem concerning the cdvd plugin. Besides that, the emulator seems to be configured correctly, because I have no problems in booting the bios with the CD/DVDnull plugin and doing some settings there. But when I use P.E.Op.S. plugin, no matter whether a PS2-DVD is inserted or not, the emu crashes (but is still visible in the task manager), and about 10 seconds later windows hangs. Only a hard reset helps then. The really strange thing, however, is that the bios is loading properly when a normal non-PSX CD is inserted.
My settings for the plugin can be seen here:
I also tried a few other settings, for example for the caching mode, but it had no effect.
Anyway, I'm thankful for every answer. And please forgive me if I made some writing mistakes, though I would be glad if you could correct them (I'm a german student, you know..).
Oh yes, my system:
Windows 2000 with SP4
Athlon XP 2400+
MSI KT3 Ultra 2 (KT333 Mainboard)
1GB DDR-RAM
Radeon 9800 Pro
and, probably most important, a SAMSUNG CDRW/DVD SM-352B (CD/DVD combo drive)
