The long awaited PCSX2 0.8 release has happened! Faster
with far more compatibility. Many games will now go in-game with
correct 3D and some *.pss / *.ipu videos will now playback correctly.

Please note that the SSE build
has a bug atm which means it will only run on SSE2 capable processors
(AMD64 / Intel P4 / AMD FX). So for the meantime just use the normal
build.

Vurecs improved and speeded up a lot (buggy in many causes so use the
simple rec for compatibility)and IPU should work in some cases.(e.g VF4)

the mentioned sse2 bug will that affect compatability because i have a sse2processor so it runs but some games that should boot dont, others do. i also have an odd fullscreen problem.

edit: IMPORTANT! SSE2 and non-SSE2 version are very different. some games run on non-sse2 that dont run on the sse2 properly.

Erm no they are not, identical code, except one is compiled optimised for SSE2 instruction usage, there is no compatibility difference between the 2 assuming you have an SSE2 capable processor.
