Before i go spending a few hours trying to get this ps2 emulator work, i was just wondering if someone could glance at my pc specs & let m know if they're good enough to run games at near full speed (the compatible ps2 games that is)...

CPU's too slow, and your GPU as well in some cases. Overclocking your E6300 to 3+GHz will make most games run very well, and it shouldn't be difficult to achieve.
