Does anyone know if PC-PSX adapters, such as the Dual Shock Adapter from Blaze, the KiKy Joy etc, are available in the UK. I looked at getting some from Lik-Sang but the shipping cost was over £40 !!! Add import duty to that and it becomes a very expensive item.

I did find a site called www.go-east.co.uk, but having failed to get any response by phone, I'm going to leave that one alone.

Any help would be appreciated.

I found a 2 ort adapter on one of those sites, thats prolly the one I'll get. Not as cheap as LikSang but £30 less carriage costs

Also saw that Asda (of all people) are selling Blaze Dual Shock controllers for £7.50 so I'll grab myself a couple

I dont know why the shipping costs should be that high as when I got my usb connector ( over a year and a half ago ) I had bought it online from a shop based in hong kong and mine was about £20 including airmail shipping which arrived the next week.
The place I got mine from was davids console shop but its since merged with another company and no longer accepts credit cards only paypal which I've no experiance of..

slight problem

Well i finally decided to build my own parallel port adapter. And it works - but.....

Has anyone managed to connect 2 controllers to the parallel port successfully ?

I have connected a second controller ( http://www.alltechbox.com/pc/pc006_pg01_eng.php3 ) but it was not detected.
I then tried copying the wiring from the multi tap layout ( http://www.stndev.btinternet.co.uk/megatap.htm ). It saw both connectors - so i know that they both work - but would use the same config on each one.

I used 2 seperate dpad drivers, i also tried the multi tap check box in the config - but it made no difference.

I really would like to be able to use both controllers at the same time, so any help would be appreciated

You should check out the Quad PSX Parallel Port Interface and the mirror of the DirectPad Pro web site.

i think the multitap setting is only if you have an actual multitap hooked up to it. if both connectors are reading, make sure that you assign different IDs to each instance of the driver.
