I recently downloaded Dolphin in an attempt to play The thousand-year door and looked at my system specs to see if I had the right hardware, exc...
It runs, but it's slightly slow and im having some graphics issues. I'm new to this emulator, so I wondered if someone could give me a few pointers.
In example of the graphics issues:
When the ship turns around after dropping you in Rougueport, instead of a smooth animation i get a box of off-color screen until it is completely turned. I get small blocks on and near the characters of various colors, and after fighting the first battle you have, upon winning the defeated enemy calls a bunch of his underlings, but all I see are lots of little shadows where they should be. (I looked at a Google video to see what I was missing after seeing all the little shadows and finding it odd.)
This video shows the problem after the battle. I found it on youtube.

This video shows what the end of the battle is SUPPOSED to look like
Skip to the end, there is annoying commentary.)

I believe i have more than adequate system specs:
CPU: Intel Moblie Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66GHz
Motherboard: Area-51 m9750 with Intel i945PM chipset
Memory: DDR2 2048 Mbytes
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT
2gigs of ram.
Im using XP x64 Professional Edition
Any ideas why im having these problems?
