I made an ISO fine, but when I tried to load it, it made it past the sony logo but then it stopped at a black screen. I assume I need the patch, where can I get one?

you can get it here http://www.megagames.com/console/cgi-bin/dlpsx.cgi?Hlg-ff9!zip then patch it to your ISO with PPF-O-Matic

Bahamut_Zero that patch is for the uk version. Its all fine and well if that's his version but he may have a german, french, etc one. In which case that won't work.
