Pad plugin problem

it keeps on asking for pad plugin when i`m trying load a rom,where can i get a pad plugins,any links for it.

Pad plugin

I updated direct x 9 from August 2009 but it`s still the same,nothing shows up drop down menu,what can be done about this.
