original 500mhz vs celeron 667

can any body tell me which is the best. either 500mhz or 667 celeron runs epsxe betteri want to buy 500mhz original in place of 667mhz celeron.for the reason that original has more cache size than celeron.and it is almost twice faster than celeron processor.one more thing which is strange that my sound blaster live value card was running with 667mhz celeron perfect when i bought it.but now it is not installing.but when oringinal 500mhz processor was used my sound blaster was easily installed on my pc.what is going on and it is the main reason i am changing my processor.

now about my sound card.when ever i try to install the old drivers which come with the original disk,a blue screen appears giving some kind of emu10k error.but when i use the latest drivers, they are easily installed,work well but when i try to make pc to pc calls using paltalk and other softwares,the sound stutters and is kind of choppy.this did not happened with old drivers.it all began when i installed windows ME and mistakingly installed win98 driver on it.after that i formatted the hard disk many times to get rid off the curse of windows ME.but did'nt succeed.and same problem appears.any idea how to fix it.i am using it on se440bx2 motherboard with the celeron processor.could it be my processor? but i had been using with it earlier.

i am using windows second edition but don't know whether it has final one or not.i never ever go near the bios.how to solve the busted ISP thingy?i have the driver cd and i live in faisalabad.where are you from?
WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?KILL THE BIOS WITH SHOTGUN? PLANT A DYNAMITE ON ISP? OR WASH AWAY THE OPERATING SYSTEM.:eyes:
