Well I wasn't going to be bothered with it until my aunt bought it for me as a thankyou/early christmas present. Anyways it costs about $100 here.

im wondering how much windows xp pro costs in canada? is that the home edition betamax???for 100$ i know the home edition is 180$canadian here but i cant find xp pro anywhere

Yep. Although can't help you with the prices across the atlantic.

I saw a few pirated copies of windows XP, costed 1US$....but it is problamatic to keep them.......you can't register, can get updates........well my hand were shaking while I was paying money for an original copy.........!

Hey a 1$ cd of xp is great, don´t need for key´s neither activation
have all the features (you guys tell them that)
pufff.... is better anyway than another 99$ version
