Does anyone know what an opcode error is and how to fix it? When playing Final Fantasy IX, I get to the part right before I fight Beatrix in Cleyra and the game stops, closes the gui, and shows an error code in the dos screen that says it's an Opcode error. I am using Petes newest D3D plugin with an iso and the internal sound plugin. My computer is a 533 K6-2, 128 ram, and 8mb video memory. I have played through the game before and this has never happened before.

Defrag hdd, if you're using an iso delete it and make a new one, if you aren't using an iso, give that a try, and don't forget to clean your cd as well, could be that one errant nearly invisible fingerprint that is messing everything up. Just had that happen with my Planescape: Torment cds. And beyond those suggestions, get new cds then, that's all I can think of sorry!
