First of all to get this game running at all you need a skip video patch. I made one for USA and is in the patches thread.
The big problem i have is that not enough data is getting to VIF1 and no idea why. Perhaps this is worth looking into by the devs.

That problem also appears with other games like "Project Zero".
Disable the whole subroutine "sceGsExecStoreImage".
