so i been playing kingdom heart all day. i was getting 50-60fps it was nice. but when i download the new direct x everything when to hell. now i im getting 80-120fps. i just want it back to normal. so can you help me

ps i dont know if this is the problem, i was try to play Dragon Quest VIII, and i was trying to speed up the game because during game play i was getting 30-40fps so i try a few things in cpu config i change consecutive frames before skipping to 3 and consecutive frames to skip to 4. i dont know if this what it was at before. but i dont know if this had any effect

Ugh, I doubt downloading a more recent version of the same version of DirectX made that kind of impact. Set the CPU configuration back to it's default. Applying the speed hacks is what sped it up.
