Last night i formatting my computer...after finish with all the stuff, i try epsxe1.4 again...but this time when i play ff9 the game freeze at the start option, i try other game...ff7 but i get a colorful spot on the screen...can some one help me?I never experience this since i try epsxe!!!

Try...

Assuming that you have the same plug-ins and configurations as before, the problem might be your video drivers. Do you have the latest DirectX? Do you have the latest drivers for your video card? Etc, etc. Hope that helps

did you forget to use the same drivers you used before? or was that included in, "all the stuff"?

i had the same prob in my friends comp, check if other games run!
Im my case i couldn't run any d3d games! I had to reformat the all thing again (reinstall windows was not a solution neither reinstall directx 8)
I guess that some file must be missing....maybe some dll

But i have fix it now but i don't know why, i install both epsxe1.0.1 and 1.4.0 and the prob. gone...strange...maybe mdec has something to do with it...version 1.4.0 don't have mdec option right?

ePSXe 1.40 doesn't have the mdec options, but you can doxnload ePSXecutor 1.04 which does have the mdec options.

i don't think it helps much , but maybe it solves the megaman x5 mdec !!!
