I seem to be having a quite odd problem with epsxe - the emulation works quite fine, but when i pause the emulation (by pressing ESC) to go to my desktop (out of fullscreen mode) either to do something else or save a state, and i try to resume emulation (either by pressing 'continue' or trying to load a state') it resizes my desktop resolution, plays the infamous windoze XP beep and i get a white screen (in the corner of the 800x600 version of my desktop) with the music and control, but no video anymore

I am not sure if anyones had this problem before, but it is very annoying for when i need to stop playing and cannot save - any help on this would be rockin!

I have this problem, but only with Alto's frountend and when I use his "continue" button, if I use ePSXe's, It works. Try pressing Alt+Tab and select the ePSXe game window, I think that would also work for me.

is ePSXe set at the same resolution as your desktop? what graphics plugin are you using?

see the problem is your epsxe has become the active program somehow without going to fullscreen

I recommend you alt+tab to the epsxe and then press esc, and then click run
