I have a USB controller that I use for my games. Looks a lot like a playstation controller only heavier. Anyway, when I set up ePSXe to use it, it reads everything fine, and it will work with most of my games. However, when I use it to play FF8, it switches the x and y axes when I am in a menu. While moving around in town I do not encounter this problem. Does this have anything to do with xPSXe? Can you help me fix it?

have you tried using another emulator like PSXeven and a pad plugin? (i.e. Harakiri)

I used your suggestion, and it definately works better, but still a little funny. It's managable now, though. Thank you.
