I'm using Version 1.7.0 of ePSXe on Windows XP, and I have been for about half a year now. However, recently, ePSXe will only play for about 10-15 minutes before starting to skip frames, as if two ePSXe's were open at once. I've tried as much as I can to remedy this; opening task manager and closing unnecessary processes, re-configuring the plugins, even restarting my computer. But the only remedy that works is closing the program and letting it "rest"... for an hour.
This makes playing even the shortest games a chore on ePSXe, having to save my state and close the program after 15 minutes. I'm spending more time letting the program "rest" than I spend actually using it, and I'd like to see if any of you have had a similar problem, and if so, how to fix it.
Thanks in advance.
