It looks like VRAM corruption, so try changing FrameBuffer Access and OffScreen Drawing to lower settings.
ok ill try dat thx lewpy ^_^
didnt work lewpy:( heres another example... my menu screen
Are you using save-states? If so, the damage could already be done to the VRAM, and loading the save-state just loads the bad VRAM image. If this is the case, you will need to find some way of coaxing the game in to re-uploading the damaged VRAM areas. Going through different menu systems, etc. may help, as may loading from a memcard.
The Voodoo³ Glide³ driver appears old. Is there a reason you are using old drivers? If not, update to the latest/last 3dfx drivers for the Voodoo³. Some people have good results with recent "hybrid" driver sets, but I can't express an opinion on these as I have not personaly used them.
do u kno where i can get new drivers??

VoodooFiles.com ?

[]s Badaro
or maybe 3dfx's website? ;) Try the Downloads link in the top left of the main page.
which one do i download???
I think the one for you system would be fine ;)
Change your "Frambuffer access" back to just "write".

and maybe try "disable" the "bi-linear filtering"

I had the same TEXT problems in FFIX, and changing those fixed for me.

nope :( so u dunt think that i shud get new drivers???
i figured out the problem!!! it wuz the advanced blending... i saw lizardj's post and he said he had the same problem with ff9 so i tried turning it to basic and it wurked!!! thx for trying to help anywayz guys ^_^
I still recommend newer drivers, since the Voodoo³ should work fine with Advanced blending :)
Which Voodoo³ card do you have? 2000/3000, or 3500TV?
What OS do you run? Win95/98/ME, or NT/2000?

If you have a Voodoo2000/3000 and run Win95/98/ME, download these drivers.

If you have a Voodoo2000/3000 and run Win2000, download these drivers.

There don't seem to be WinNT4 drivers for Voodoo3 on the 3dfx page.

Voodoo3500TV needs special driver sets, which are detailed on the 3dfx download page.
