Heyooo everyone, first post here, unfortunately not a very happy one, since I'm pretty stumped.
Anyways, I'm having a strange bug on any rom I play in both the public and the beta versions of PJ64, although only the beta one gives me an error message, whereas the public one simply crashes to desktop with no further notice.
So, it always happens as follows:
I'm using the N-Rage V2 2.00 input plugin, all the other ones are default. I realize this is not the default plugin, but please bear with me and read on. I use the plugin so I can use the mouse, as I have no gamepads to play with. Whenever I set a configuration modifier in N-Rage for whatever purposes, apparently (still have to test it out further to know that for sure, but I can't get it to work at all to switch between configs 1 and 2 of the analog stick, which is what I need) and press the configuration modifier assigned key (whichever one I assign it to), the emulator freezes and I get the following error message:
"Exception
CN64System::LoadFileImage - Exception caught
File: D:\My programs\home\Project64\project 64 1.7\Source\N64 Systems\N64 Class.cpp
Line:326"
By the way, that file, or even entire directory for that matter does not even exist on my hard drive.
I googled around a lot, before finally deciding to ask for help on the forums, and I saw many other people had this problem (with the exception happening on the same line, too), but mostly related to graphics plugins, none of them had it the same way I'm having.
Can any tech savvy person please tell me what exactly is the problem here? I've tried everything I could think of and came across with in my searching around, but no cigar.
P.S.: Somebody might notice I have posted this message on more than one place. I honestly believe I am not flooding/spamming, I just got the impression from the dates on the most recent posts that these emulator forums aren't exactly too popular or frequently read so I'm just posting it where I think it's relevant just in case.
