Is this an emulator issue? Or rather a bad copy of a game? Greets.

Are you playing from cd or iso? I solved this problem by mounting my ISO (via daemon tools or alochol 120%), and I think a real cd would work as well, but I didn't try.

More things you can try include changing sound plugin or trying other emulator like psxeven.

on config sound screen check if you have 'enagle xa sound(select to neable XA sound in MDEC)' function marked...

KanedA: The function you mentioned is enabled.
BRILLIANT: I am playing from cd-r.
As for other emus, I think I am limited to PCSX as I am using linux. I will give a try.

[edit]The Eternal SPU plugin has not changed anything. And I am unable to run PCSX due to lack of cdr plugin, as mooby one casues many problems.

I have turned on FPS limit, and set it to auto but it still hasn't helped.
