No More News Submission From Me

It seems someone, most likely from here *****ed about all the news credits going to me over at emunoobs and I guess it comes off as spam. It was also brought up on IRC once by moomoomoo .. and who knows how many times privately. All I was doing was helping out NGEmu but I can see how it would look bad having that many posts crediting the same person or site. Oh well people will ***** about anything now a days.

argg....people these days....
hey dont sweat it, people like to *****

seems ill have the time to submit more :p you would always beat me to them :cuss2:
So you're pissed off because we credited many news posts to you?
......
..o...k....oO

Personally, I don't give a bl00dy damn what people think. Whoever the source of the news was, he/she has to be credited. Emun00bs seemed to be a fun site at the beginning, but given the past experiences , it will just end up bringing unneccessary trouble IMO.

I am not pissed, it just sucks when you try to help out a site people complain. It's not the first time someone has complained about using me as a credit for news or tried to stop news posters from posting news submitted by me. I have no clue what people have against me or my news submissions .. so I am just not going to submit news so it doesn't look like I am trying to spam NGEmu main site. If the news posters still want my news they know where to look.
I can't understand how your news submissions could look like spam. People say too much, and I think you shouldn't care about what they say.

Anyway, that's your personal decision, and the guys here can always check out EF if they want to ;)
Ive been a member on this site for sometime know i dont say much (just how i am) that why my post count so low (so i am not a noob saying something about something i now nothing about), there has been alot of time when the main page was not working (could not post new news) and even when it was working, or low on posters, Keith & Chrono Archangel has always support this site, i think if they would not post news we would miss alot of good things going on in the emu world (not trying to say the news poster not doing there job or any thing like that), you see the thing that gets me so mad about this is keith has his on emu forum but he is so much a good member he still post news here, so why in **** would anyone get mad at him for going out his way to help keep this place alive. sorry about the post but i just had to get it out of me. Keith i dont care what anyone say you is a good guy in my books, so **** what they say. ok im done
What the hell? This is totally retarded. Keith posted the news obviously because nobody else was doing it. How is that bad? Geez.
Keith dude, you let some emun00bs prevent you from posting news here.
Don't take em seriously man , you're a member here as well so why shouldn't you post news here as well? Remember it's all a service to the true emunoob who doesn't even care about who posts news, as long as he gets it ;)
I'd say keep up the good work :thumb:
Yeah the people that know me .. know that I tend to let things get to me quickly. Not the first time I have gone all crazy over little things. I just don't want NGEmu or any other site for the matter to look bad and be the cause of it. I will still submit news, but I will give it a day or two so the normal news posters here can have the chance to grab the news first on their own and hopefully fix the problem some people seem to have.
Hey dude, I'm always up for news about things, I love to know what's going on. I think it's awesome that you post stuff, and hope you keep, keeping us updated. Who cares what others say, keep on post'en!!!
I'm still not quite sure if we really need to cover these NES for PSP emulators, and therabouts. In fact, these are probably the hardest pieces to catch news for.

As for Keith, you did a great favor for us the past few months, but I do see emunoobs has a point, that we do need to start relying on ourselves to catch news. But I do like your 'give it a day or 2 approach'...just in case if we miss something ;)
Yeah I agree it would look better that way :)
Yeah, I too, wonder if we should cover these PSP emulators, but they were posted in the past so I guess we are covering them.

I did do news hunt myself but before I actually looked into another site, Keith already provided a bunch that I could use. Given the credits, I see nothing wrong with a member as well as an affiliated website trying to help us by providing news for. Like everyone said, Keith, you did a great job, don't let the emunoobs get you down.
hey dont listen to those guys, you are doing a great job covering all the news and the only thing that those guys do is stalkin Bull****.

uhm, it's emun00bs; I thought you liked that kind of sites; this is exactly the reason why I do NOT like those sites.

Of course, it already started to look crazy for the past 2-3 weeks, that about any news post was submitted by Keith.
And, looking at Emunoobs, they don't have anything to really talk about, so it was predictable that they'll notice it sooner or later (especially since they are not even funny any more as of late).

BTW, it was certainly *not* me ****ing around over at Emu noobs - even though I noticed that "issue" with the credits as of late as well and started thinking how it can be solved, this is certainly not something I'd do.
The issue is this: Keith is checking news and posts them at EF and then in our news submissions forum. Even if we should find the news ourself later on (yes, we at NGEmu don't check on news as often as Keith does), it's close to impossible to post it without giving credit then. You could basicly do that with ANY other sites news submission forum, if they'd play fair, Keith would have to be credited all over the internet.

How about this: Let US check YOUR site again. I'll put an up-to-date newschecker (small utility to check various sites, many members should already know that) in the members area tomorrow, and should it miss anything, we'll find it at your site. Though, people will ***** about anything nowadays, so that might be faulty to some as well.

Damn, it is sites like that give me stresses when posting news. :p
About the coverage of emulators for PSP: I find it something worth to cover. You did the same with emulators for Dreamcast, which were the prime reason I bought a DC in the first place. And as some of you might know I don't regret it :p

I have no problem not submitting news and letting the news posters finding the news for themselves. But what does this mean for the news submission forum? I mean what is stopping anyone else from doing the same? That is if the problem is people not giving the news posters enough time to find it on their own. You could always just use the news submission forum as a last place to check after they have checked their news checkers. I already said on IRC the other day they don't have to credit me if I submit in the news submission forum. Like I replied to Kirby I will give it a few days and if there is missed news I will submit some. If you don't want me to submit anything at all just let me know.
