Simply as eye candy, eh?As someone who doesn't even play fighting games, the disappearance of Mai makes me sad.![]()
Dead or Alive must tickle your fancy then. The combo of bouncing boobs, good moves, sluty moves & outfits was pretty much what i liked about game.
Uh.... the DoA volleyball games? Sluttiness swings for both teams there.Yeah, but May's sluttyness was pretty much unique...
Too bad it's in a horrible direction.I thought that was quite a difference in terms of style....
If anything, I think the emulating crowd is the only group of gamers who knows about KoF, and they already have them all. They don't emulate knowing KoF, but they know KoF because they emulate. They had trouble selling them on the PS2/Wii @ $29.99 then $19.99, that was a 5 pack anthology, heck even the KOF98 Ultimate Match on the PS2 has trouble selling at $19.99 and it's a Naomi update of the most popular KOF game.
Maybe the older KOF games don't sell well because anyone who wants them can get them *illegally* via emulation, but still, even the Atomiswave *unemulated* SNK games don't sell well at 1/2 to 1/3rd the price...
Yeah. A page right out of Square and Capcom. They do seem to have a better business model, though (caching in on old games...).
Definitely not because they can play the old ones for free though.
KoF sales always reek. They do better in arcades then console sales. And most KoF players I know like to play the classics. They aren't too interested in the latest ones.
Well, technically they can play all the new ones for free if they really wanted to since they're basically all on PS2 (unless PCSX2 isn't playing them well yet). But arcade emulation is just so damn easy.half of the newer ones too....
