This Is Not About One Game Freezing Partway Through, This Is WAY Different. When I Open It, I Choose A Game And The Whole Thing Locks Up:cry:, I Click On It And Its Name Changes It "No$GBA (Not Responding). I Have To Alt+4 Or Ctrl+Alt+Delete Out Of It. It Worked Before I Changed A Display Setting Soo...I Changed It Back And Now I Choose The Game And It Freezes And A Window Pops Up Saying This "This Program Is Not Responding. To Return To Windows And Check The Status Of The Program, Click Cancel. If You Choose To End The The Program Now, Click End Now"..... What Do I Do!?! Im Freaking Out... Lol, But For Real, Please Help Me.BTW Im Using Windows Vista And I Have A 'Windows Vista Version' No$GBA

With Lots Of Love, But Not In THAT Kind Of Way,

What do you mean by 'Windows Vista version' No$GBA?
Try deleting no$gba.ini. And please, don't write every word with a capital letter, It Is Just Effin' Annoying!

Try deleting the no$gba.ini and setting the emulator up as needed again.

ok i found a solution to that problem...iv posted what my folder lookes like when its unzipped and a game is loaded...all i did was put the application out of the folder and it works fine again....
NOW! new problem is that i could find no way of accessing the SAV files so if anyone knows how please tell me because im having to start a new game EVERYTIME.
The folder looks like this if this helps anyone to understand what the problem might be as im no good at this sort of thing:

Main Folder:
-Battery Folder
Pokemon - Fire Red # GBA.SAV
-Slot Folder
-NO$GBA Application (This file must be placed elsewhere)
-NO$GBA Configuration Settings

i dont know where all the folders should be or in what order to put them in so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

these are the configuration settings:

The savefiles have to be in the \Battery folder of the one No$GBA.exe is in.
If moving No$GBA.exe to a new folder helps, it's most likely related to some corruption of No$gba.ini. Delete that and you should be fine. A new one will be created next time you run the emu.
And really, don't necro a year-old thread next time.

Okay, I have tryed everything here. None worked. Well, the switching to new folder worked. I started up the game and my controls didnt work...I exited, moved my saved settings files over cause I wanted to be lazy...I go to start up and BAM freeze. So Im like hmmm...removed the saved settings file, and bam it works. Guess Imma just have to reset my keys everytime I play, but thats less then ten seconds of my life...In short if your black screening after loading your game, open your nocash folder delete NO$GBA notepad, configuration settings and everything should work...GL

It's called a Precision F-Strike. It's used to emphasize a point. And IMO I'm still within the social norms by not saying, but paraphrasing the curse-word.
OTOH, you should first look at the dates of the posts before posting about a 5-year-old comment in a thread that hasn't been active for 3 months, and about something that doesn't concern the original topic.

Uh... you DO realize that you're cussing, right?
And you DO realize that this is an old thread you are replying to (just like what Smilley said). I can see that you have been replying to old threads (not just this thread) for a while now. It is against the rules to revive old threads. As I have mentioned in the other thread that you replied to, check the date first and do some research before you reply to a thread.
