I've searched in several places across the net and can't seem to find an answer to this question. This happens when I try to run any ISO in PCSX2: I get the message "No accelerated IMDCT transform found" and then the whole thing crashes.

What graphics card does your computer have?

Sorry, should've given more info.

Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT
OS: Windows XP
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz
RAM: 4 GB

Are you using nVidia's latest driver release or did you update the drivers through Windows Update?

Nevermind, I just got it working. I had to change the CDDVD plugin to P.E.Op.S and configure it correctly.

That's weird. Which plugin was giving you those errors?

Gigaherz's CDVD 7.0.

Now I just have to figure out why the sound is all choppy and during the cinematic sequences, the frame rate drops to 13 or so but during gameplay it bumps back up to 45-60.

That's normal.

Make an ISO of your game. Google up DVD Decrypter and set it to "ISO read" mode. Then change your plugin to Linuzapps.
