NGZoom not working(and static?)

3372 Views 10 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  downloadpies
NGZoom won't zoom in (it just looks like No$gba without a zoom) and its giving the "Nocash GBA has encountered a problem and needs to close" thing. I can still play the game if I just move the error out of the way but closing the error closes the game and it still doesn't zoom. It worked all day before that.

Nevermind it was just my friends fan that sounded like static and the 2 games I tested it on were naturally staticy-what a coincidence -_-

Still the zoom and error is there ._.
Any help here? :( (I did read the FAQ+searched)

Which NGZoom did you download? The latest one is in this thread.

Since I don't know which NGZoom you are using, I can only tell you to try the suggestions in this thread.
Yes it's that version-I also checked and I have the right dll files.
Did you try stretching the window by dragging one of the board or pressing the Maximize button on the top right hand corner of the window? If that doesn't work, try the suggestions in the thread that I posted.
Please read what I said. NGZoom opens A NORMAL NO$GBA WINDOW as if you didn't have NGZoom at all. Also I keep getting the error message that doesn;t do anything unless I close it.

What was in the thread you posted didn't help at all.
Do you use 64 bit WinXP or Vista? Those are known to not run NGZoom properly (read: at all). Try No$Zoomer instead.
I was running NGZoom perfectly the whole day until around 7:00 so I know it should work. Also No$zoomer works but it's missing a lot of the fixes for the games I play.
Please read what I said.
I did read what you said.

It's suppose to look almost like as if you are running the emu by itself.

Also I keep getting the error message that doesn;t do anything unless I close it.
I have no clue as to what the error might be. Run the emu by itself and press F1, then tell me which version of the emu are you using. If you are using 2.6, then I can tell you that's the reason why NGZoom will not work.
Once again you didn't read what I said. It was running perfectly fine till around 7:00

Also I forgot to mention it runs GBA games with NGZoom (and the error) but NDS games just stay small (with the error).

-.-

Have you try "reinstalling" the program (ie. delete the existing NGZoom files in your no$gba folder and extract the NGZoom files to your no$gba folder again)?
If it worked before just make a fresh no$gba folder and extract the stuff inside it. Something might be corrupt (software, or a HD sector).

NGZoom always fills up the whole screen (game windows centered, rest default program background) here and I can't resize it. When I use the "new" version, it works windowed but laaaaaaaaaaags.
