the current categories arent necessarily the only ones.
they were opened now, rather than later. it was also originally supposed to be only reserved to the categories that needed a 2-step filtering process, but was expanded to get more categories out for early suggesting too.
youve seen the 'lady gamer award' isnt listed currently, though having been approved (2-step filtering process not really necessary, only 1 suffices, and thats in about 3 days that candidacy suggesting for some categories will be considered closed, for picks to the be filtered down to the strongest candidates, depending on the type of mpmeh\qvl,decide to pick -wether keep it up like that, or advance with filtering down-).
browse the categories and feedback threads, and let us know of if you think there's something we could/should add/change/whatever.
even though you're going to soon close the nomination process for the various initially posted catagories, could you keep the threads open until the actual awards take place and not locked or deleted them so if we wish to still discuss stuff and reference back to things in the thread we still can do that?
Some threads will stay up for further suggesting/nominating.
The rest will just have the count locked at sometime, with further feedback possible, though namelist would be pretty much done and ready for 'filtering'.
The threads will remain readable, though little point seems to exist as to why not locked, since new threads about the same categories would be opened, with the purpose of further strengthening the candidate list.
Nothing prevents it. It would be nothing but due recognition after all.
A single person topping the desktop/sig/avatar/coder categories wouldnt be anormal, though quite a miracle to witness
If prizes are available, obviously one per person would exist. This is not a concern needing to have to worry about anyway, and will be adressed to by the committee and as appropriate if need be, when the time arises, if justified by such award results.
