Decided to indulge in some nostalgia, got NFS High Stakes PS1 version and ePSXe 2.0.5. Found in Youtube some recommendations about settings and launched it.

Everything was fine till cars appeared on screen. Game become more sluggish, also stopping for a moment every 5-7 seconds, while background music starts to stutter. Race events go the same way - like in slow mo with rather sensible lack of fps. Tried another settings, tried another images - all the same way.

What to do with that?

Get ePSXe 2.0.5, use GPUcore plugin at 1x or 2x.
OpenGL2 plugin doesn't work well with integrated graphics cards on laptops/notebooks/
