Nikk just reported, that he just released Next3D, another PSEmu Pro compatible plugin he made. It is, unlike his NextGL, and as you can guess from the name now, utilizing the Direct3D API. As this is the first version, there isn't really a changelog, but here's what the readme tells about this plugin :
Next3D is a Direct3D 8 hardware renderer and will automaticaly use hardware T&L if your video card supports it. This should provide a little
boost when you're playing emulated PlayStation games :)
This is more or less a direct port from the NextGL code, but some of Direct3D's features will be taken advantage of in the future.
Sounds pretty cool. Keep in mind that the bilinear filtering in this plugin is still slow and needs fixing, and shouldn't be activated therefor. You can get the Next3D v1.0 plugin from here or directly from Nikk's page, along with some nice infos what features the NextGL version, 1.5, will come along with.
Oh yeah, I also added both plugins, NextGL and Next3D, to our GPU plugins page, so it should really be complete now :)
