Have grabbed the patch for FFIX UK PAL (presume it's the same as the Aussie version). But how do you patch it and do you need to patch only disc One? I've bought the game and could take it back with in 7 days if I can't get it to work and exchange it for something else. Is there a doco on how to patch it? If it helps I have bought VGS and am running version 1.4.1 and also have DLed Epsxe. My PC is an ASUS CUSL2-C MB running an Intel 1 GIG CPU, ASUS Geforce 256 32 MEG DDR, WinME, SBLive, 30GIG HD and an Acer CDRW 10 * 8 * 32 Burner.

You can apply a patch by using Pete's CDR plugin 1.06
There's an option to apply a .ppf(patch file) to whatever game your playing in the config. Read the .txt documents included with the plugin for more info.
You may also find some tips at www.aldostools.com
aldostools is mainly telling how to get it working in VGS, but there may be some useful info.
Also if you didn't get the patch from aldostools then there's probably some instructions at that site for applying patches. Don't give a link to the patch site on these boards because it may have illegal stuff like warez. (aldostools has no illegal material)
