:Edit: Apparently I was wrong, I was under the impression it wasn't due for a release until December. I could of swore me and my mother asked Gamestop and they said this game along with Mario Galaxy 2 weren't scheduled for release until December, same with other retailers.

You need to use the LLE sound plugin to get past the loop.

Too bad there is no way to get past that part, suspend emulation, and then switch back to the HLE. Ah well, hopefully in time the developers will find the bug in the HLE plugin that causes the endless loop.

Its caused by an aspect of the sound emulation that isnt yet implemented into the HLE plugin.

Is 2 AR codes which fixes most of the crashes and gives a HUGE speedup when you are playing the game, also turnoff the sound completely in the LLE plugin for more speed. For me the game runs in fullspeed with all that.

Found a new bug.
If you go toad's house, after level 1-2, if you play the game and loose, the game gets stuck, in a loop, like that one in the beginning of the game.
You have to wait some time, around 1min to exit that screen.

Seems to be the same bug. I did reach Toad's house using HLE (with a lot of save states and patience) and at the end of the mini game it gets stuck indefinetely, just like it does when starting a game.
