Pete has added a new shader filter called Luigi's "Blur AA" shader.
Could someone have tried this?
What do you think about this?

never even heard of it; i'll have to check it out later. unfortunately, FX cards arent very good at doing shaders so i dont think i'll have much luck with it :(

Yeah, I just got it....according to Pete's homepage, it is a vertex/fragement program, from a guy called Luigi, for a fullscreen smoothing effect. Hmm, gonna try that out. :D Thanks SimoneT.

some suggestion:
download the "updated" version from
http://www.pbernert.com/pete_ogl2_shader_luigi_aa.zip
set the "shader Level" to "1-minimum"
set the "Desktop Resolution" up to 640x480 for High X / High Y , up to 800x600 for High X / Very high Y and up to 1024x768 for Very high Y / Very high Y. Most PSX games runs at 320x240...
You can also edit the gpuPeteOGL2.fp and remove this lines:
# remove the values higher than color0 + cut-off

MUL temp, color0, cutoff;
ADD temp, color0, temp;
MIN color1, color1, temp;
MIN color2, color2, temp;
MIN color3, color3, temp;
MIN color4, color4, temp;
