I have an old PC lying around I wanted to startup again, but the old 5 pin din Cherry Keyboard has some of the vital keys not working. I was wondering is there a 5pin DIN male to USB female adapter that would support a new keyboard to be plugged into it and thus used with the older PC?

I've searched everywhere but nothing exactly for a 5 pin seems to exist...

Then use two, USB to PS/2 and PS/2 to 5-pin DIN...
One word of advice, not all peripheral brands work when using converters. I don't like to advertise "Miko$oft", but its peripherals work very well in that aspect.

Thanks for the response. While I didnt want to get two, it seems like the only way. Will check out Miko$osft.

Is it not possible to still buy a PS/2 keyboard? Then use a PS/2 to DIN adaptor, works fine.

it’s easier to already buy a used keyboard than messing with adapters
