...a stupid one... would it be possible to turn ON/OFF GPU / SPU emulation during running a game? I know it would cause timing, compatibility, etc. problems but would it work? That would be very nice so I could squeese more frames to stupid phases of the game...

I don't wanna play with sound / graphics ALL the time...
I just would want switch them off for while to get emulator
little faster because my CPU sucks... Like when your running or flying at the world map in game like Final Fantasy it would be nice to done that faster (like in Chrono Cross you can speed up the game if you need with R1 key)
