i have no idea man. i never used it for mpeg playing i dont think (i have a intervideo windvd6)

ugh, this FFDshow caused my explorer to crash whenever i touched an AVI file. bleh. going back to the old one fixed it immediately, so i know it was the new one...

Well if you had that problem, just run "regsvr32.exe /u shmedia.dll" do disable the AVI preview features.

cool tweak is there a way to reverse it when ffdshow gets fixed?

just drop the "/u" to re-enable it. Can't remember where I got it from, but I've been using it for ages, as XviD used to do the same.

This new version isnt working, but it uses standard codecs instead. Probaply because i have latest test version under. I'll try uninstalling them all and reinstall this new one.
