k, i don't know wut happen, but before i can work epsxe v1.4. I use to much space n erease my hardrive n when i try to work epsxe again it said old direct input init. how do i update it or wut am i suppose to do!! plzzz help.

An old Direct Input eh? Sounds to me that you need to reinstall the latest version of directX.
