I've got a Winfast Geforce2MX and finally, I've installed the new 12.90 Detonator drivers, but now, there is a special screen for antialiasing. Is it for OpenGL or Direct3d? Can I do 4x4 FSAA in OpenGL now? If I choose 2x2 FSAA is the same as forcing AA?
I guess you can't stop saying nonsense, but it doesn't matter cause I know you're quite abnormal.
Anyway,I think that the change in the handling of FSAA occured with the introduction of the 7.xx series(note:between the 6.50 and the 12.41,none of the 7.xx/8.xx/10.xx/11.xx,have been released).
that menu is for both OGL and D3d, and yes you forece AA when you manually select AA modes unless that an application doesn't totally support it. to configure AA separately for D3d and OGL use nvmax.
as for Rargh's question: I'm not so sure on what series of drivers but when you use nvmax with the 12.xx drivers you get only 2x2 and 4x4 (quincux for geforce3) as AA modes for both D3d and OGL. meaning there is 4x4 AA for OGL in 12.xx.
