I Just want to inform all of you nvidia/epsxe fans that theres already a detonator 22.50 xp leaked beta floating around the net (not official). After I've installed this driver, I got tons of fixes on epsxe emulation like the black boxes appearing on FF games. Questions are 1. Did this version remember Overclock and Gamma correction after reboot?
2. Compare with 12.90 by your feeling.. Which one is better?

Please answer me so I can make a decision before d/l it.

Answers:

1.Yeah,overclocking settings are keeped when you reboot,about gamma I don't know.

2.Compared to the 12.90,they're much better.

When you unintall videocard drivers such as nvidia detonators. all config on your videocard will be restored to default not the registry though (You may need to install a third party software like detonator destroyer to delete those which can cauz performance slowdowns) I hope this helps.

I heard that using this to play alien vs. predator 2 causes problems..... I know its not psx related but i'm sure some of you guys play pc games. And avp 2 is an awesome game!

After trying 22.50..
1. Boot problem at startup screen. (Boo..)
2.After booting ... It forget gamma correction..

The result show me to stay still at 12.90...

are you using windows 9x platforms? If yes, have you used detonator destroyer? Well different systems/rig dont behave exactly on drivers issues.

The 22.50's are great, gained some major speed in quite a few games, get a few new glitches in ePSXe, but a slight reconfigure helped!! got black edges removed, and UT runs at 1280x1024, with high details for everything, even volumetric fog etc etc......

So thumbs up for these drivers.......I will add more info once I have tested my games

The drivers work great for me, haven't noticed a performance boot but I haven't really been benchmarking them either. All anti-aliasing bugs seem to have been squooshed though.

FF8 PC American, (me in ENGLAND), it used to run fine, until 21.81 onwards, now it has major GFX errors, and the texturing on 3D objects is totally screwed, my system specs are in my Signature, can any one help me!!!

I would go back to older drivers if every other game did this, but all the others including FF7 PC (PAL) works perfectly with major speed boosts!!

Have you try 22.40 yet?

yeah? well it didn't for me coz it f*cked up Deus Ex(UT engine based) and the black edges when you turn-on FSAA in ePSXe are still there! they are freaking fast though, about 200+ points over 21.88 also AA went a bit faster, at least for me in Quake 3

the new detonators really are better ! Well FF8 PC got worse , or maybe ineed to download the new patch (wish solves your problem two CKemu )

Yep, After reading a few forums on guru3d.com. I found out the the detonator 22.40 is the best.The 22.50 are fastest on benchmarks although many users report worse image quality or even corruption. I myself I havent experience this, I'll to switch to detonator 22.40 to test.

After dl--->
Counter-strike with smooth OPEN-GL graphics.
Diablo 2 Expansion Lord of Destruction lags like f*** and there are places in the map where I get over 500 ping.

I have problems with this new driver too, altho it give me about 270 point more.

So i tried to install 22.40, and it give me even more marks, about 320 points. And for me, i still havent encountered any problems that the 22.50 gave me.

BUT, hmmm... well... i will report if i have any problems with this v22.40.

I tried the patche (s), still get the following results, kinda pretty eh??!!! Thanks for the help though, if anyone else has any idea y this is happening with the new drivers or has solved the same problem, PLEASE let me know....

PS: FIFA 2001 has stopped working!! but my other games (67 of them all work faster, and my emus for the N64/Callus/PSX/Pocket Station etc...all work)
