Need Help With Visual Gameboy Advanced

Good day, I am playing Pokemon Leaf Green. I just went to save a file through the game (just like saving the current file on an actual GBA), and it then comes up and says "Save Error. Please exchange the backup memeory." and it doesn't save. How do I get it so it will save to the game??? :cuss2:
