Ok, so I downloaded PEC, tried to send some cheats to the emulator, it said I needed to configure the video options. So I clicked config, then video, the box says "psx emulation cheater 2.5" then under that, I hit configure, and now i'm on the GPU plugin tab. There's nothing in the white box, and nothing on the drop arrow, and for the life of me, I can not figure out why. Some help would be appreciated, even if the answer is right under my nose. =\

EDIT: I'm using ePSXe 1.7.0 and PEC 2.5

Windows. And I read a little further down the FAQ page to the replies, and just checked my plugins folder, and gpupec.dll is there, but my whitebox is still completely empty.

shuddup laguna. when running epsxe from program files on vista with UAC enabled, it doesn't have read access to the plugins folder.

create a shortcut for epsxe, and make sure the shortcut properties have the epsxe directory in the Start In box.

well that is great and all but that isnt his problem, his problem is the pec plugin isnt showing up in the plugins configuration not getting to work

have you been away for awhile... coz we've been over this 80 times in the last 2 months....

epsxe sees video plugins, pec does not see them

try re-installing pec or
edit bad 'pec.ini' file

that line is configured by pec itself.

MOVE the entire epsxe folder out of program files and place it somewhere else.
