i read about this on gametrailers.com a few days ago and thought it was fake. guess i was wrong. its good to see Jin and Mitsurigi are in the game. they happen to be my favourite chars form Tekken and Soul Calibur

I can definetly see this as being another "one of those games" that doesn't make it to western shores.

eh? since when is that ever a reason? there are A LOT of square games that didn't make it. and speaking specifically about these 2 companies, namco isn't the most reliable when it comes to bringing over the tales games.
i'm not saying theres no chance at all, just saying i wouldn't be surprised if it never makes it here.

i thought that was the only reason. i mean why release a game when theres no one to buy it.

when companies research whether or not to release a game, they don't do it based on previous successes of their games. they base it on predictions as to how many people would be interested in buying that specific game.

you were saying Namco and Capcom have enough fans and that fanbase is reason enough to bring them over. its already been shown that they don't release all their games in the states, so you can't use your current road of logic.

hmm so thats why alot of RPGs don't make it to the west. guess they think that everyone in the west is more interested in FPS and Racing sims (which is partially true)

Well can't be helped, that is why I am doing my best to get my understanding of the Japanese language down pack, it is getting better but it is still taking time. Namco will most likely not bring that game over here, I have seen time and time again they are very unreliable as Exo mentioned about the Tales series like a good set of the games did not come here and some of them for stupid reasons.

I didn't want to make a whole new thread for this. Only screenshots were being talked about and this is the trailer. It looks rather interesting... to say the least.

Hmm, seems like voice actors and dimension break downs. I like it!! Anyone remember the short lived DC vs Marvel series called Amglam. Yea, remind me of this..

Be cool if charcters merged together. Kos-Mos and Morrigan form Kos-Gan!!! or something completely stupid..ok im..backing away slowly...

I'm just glad we get to see some of the most beloved under-used chars in the games.

Man I can't watch the trailer, it will take me two hours to d/l it

stupid Internet connection. I shall forever spit at the ground I sleep in for it holds the crapiest place for Internet. Of course driving 15mins to the closest city I see secured wireless networks everywhere and no way to get access to them.

Well I will drool at the screenshots that come up for this game i'll most likely buy the game since I am here in Japan. It comes out sometime in May from what I heard.
