The old "style" preserved, some sort of cache from the past?

It brings memories, and i really prefer this mostly because of the "forum highlights"-function, and the less un-sensible news-post-style (articles: read the original thread"-thingies in the new one seems like a useless abstraction/layer to me)

Someone from cg said that the Highlights-function would be back, but that was close to ages ago.

Edit: know that i see the link translated i see that it is like a direct link to the n64-section somehow.
I almost do not like to see this "cleaned up" due to the above ranted-about function

The system allows for that (list of latest threads), among other possibilities to replicate the old ways.

Why it wasnt done, beats me.

Yeah, it is a shame.
I mean.. i wouldn't go and say that it seems like cg just buys up pages, puts on their frontpage, and don't show site-to-site interest in them other than ad-revenue...
