Hey

Found someone sharing distros so I downloaded them and now I want to use the distros to send me files to my game using mystery gift. But is this possible with NO$? Is it possible to just run two instances of the emu (one with the game, one with the distro)?

Can someone tell me how it works? If it's not possible I really want that feature implemented.

1. If you would have read the FAQ or one of the countless threads discussing this matter, you'd know that there is presently no way of linking together NDS games.
2. Martin has not updated his homepage in over a year now and even before that, only sporadically visited this site. Apart from all that, he only took requests and suggestions on specific matters, not broad ones like "WiFi".
3. No other emulator is yet capable of emulating the WiFi process, meaning it is much more complex than any of us users might grasp, and requesting for it won't speed up the process there. And be sure, you're far from the only one waiting on a breakthrough in this regard...
4. Even so, these distribution ROMs are meant for events and I'm not entirely sure of how the legality of sharing them through the Internet stands.
5. From what I've read about these ROMs, I understand it's even pretty nifty to get them to work on the original hardware, so I wouldn't count on them even if WiFi will ever work.
6. For all your Pokemon needs, there's a nice application known as Pokesav. Google's your friend here.

OK, I'll give you that; this particular thing isn't high in demand, but nothing link-related works, and we do say that every time.

The original hardware does not feature or need cable as it has a built-in wireless antenna. That's also one of the reasons linking is hard to implement.

I've only had slight interest in those discussions as I never meant to use those programs. *shrugs* Good to know for those it concerns.

You can get any item and Pokemon - those available with this extra content included -, and it is of yet the only way to do so on PC alone, so I thought you might want to know.
