My computer specs are way! over the recommended but it still runs really slow on every game i have... could it be cause of the quality of the disc? I have like 20 ps2 and they're are all slightly scratched but i didn't think that could be the problem...

If you're worrying about quality of discs, I'm assuming you didn't try doing an ISO image of the disk first. Running games off your hard drive does wonders for emulation speed.

I put SSX tricky on my hdd and it worked a little better but the sound is still clippy, not even robotic.

...nvm It's my processor I'm getting a new one this Christmas hopefully... I'm trying to get a quad core with 3.4ghz so hopefully by then It will work :D
