My Portfolio Site

well I dunno maybe too small? nah I guess the size is fine but the color diff are u using the hex numbers to have the same color if so?, then dont use png lol, and since I love japanese culture I like it more lol but try using the numbers, maybe a rollover image for the menu would give it more life, dont make the change to extreme just a small light effect would be fine. I give it 7/10 (just because the color diff) if I dont count that 8/10 (because of the menu)

btw what softwares are u using to create the website?

Yeah I like rollovers, maybe a glow effect would be nice. The hex is all the same it has to be png, I'll try gif or jpg. Thanks for the comment!

All designed in Photoshop and basic html in dreamweaver.

EDIT: Color fixed! good ol' gifs much better :thumb:

but once again nice job (besides those are my favorite colors lol good choice, those colors help hide some mistakes lmao [I know it from expirience] so nice job lmao XD)

btw when using the feature saving for the web try to get the highest one so u can the right color that might help too

Highlight effect added! definitly works with the style and theme . Also working on a better look for the news and other sections.

Not bad. Maybe try getting rid of the alt text for the mouseovers. It takes away from the effect, I think.

Now, you just need a domain name and a decent host.

Yeah, I know. We've redesigned it and started from scratch a couple times already. Thorgal and I have been pretty tied up lately, but we want to launch soon, trust me. If you want to see what's there so far, just slap /dev on the end of the url. I don't want to post any URLs to the dev site, because I don't want spiders indexing it.

hmm those mouseover are wayyyyyy to bright I said a slight change change not thatbig like maybe make the color lighter or darker, that gaussian blur effect meh I dunno is way too constracting

I have to disagree, the glowing mouseover looks just perfect IMO. Great work on the site so far!

There's a lot of search engines out there that don't honor it, I've found.

It's only a glow effect, no blur. It looks pretty good to me, I wanted it noticeable.

There was a thread a while back where I was offering first month free to NGEmu members a long time ago, but I'd likely still honor it. I honestly don't see any need for a discount. With packages starting at $3.95/month, it's not like you could consider that expensive.
