i m going to buy a new system.the specifications are as under

Sempron 2200+
Asus a7v400 board.
256mb ddr
and all other stuffs.

can u tell me something about my mother board.What does it have??.and my processor.Will i be able to over clock it..and if yes then upto how many..
also will i be able to play all new games if i add a good 3d card..

Yes, you can overclock any processor, however if you aren't willing to research the basics of overclocking, then it's probably best not to bother.

Yes. How well you can play them however.....
Some games like Vampire just run like crap, but for the most part, you'll be OK

Well the A7M400-MX is going for $89CDN, Sempron 2200+ are not even sold here.. PC3200 256MB Generic is $31CDN. I don't know where Sohaib lives but those parts are pretty cheap here. Probably a budget system.

Lucky you.. i paid £240 for 1GB of PC4800 which was faulty.. i then sent back in the post, and the damn things got stolen/lost

Yeah, that's in american dollars. 512MB here is around $50. But yeah, DDR has gone WAY down in the past while.

hmm i got tha whole sytem of 11000 Rs.Means 185 Us$.Ain't this cheap bro .i also updated my ram to 512mb.it costed me 42$.

can someone tell me how to over clock sempron 2200+ to 3000+.The shop keeper told me that it will reduce the life of my processor to half.is this true .if yes then what is tha halflife of sempron 2200+.

Wait, a 2200+ to a 3000+? That's clocking an ~1.6Ghz CPU to 2.1/2.2GHz. That's an ~40% increase. The K7 cores aren't great overclockers, you have no experience of overclocking and are probably gonna try it with stock cooling. Don't be stupid. Most likely the best you'll do is toast your system.
Don't bother. Really don't bother.
The 9800 was the top card last generation. It's still a good card.
