My FF8 Game Won't Start!!! Plz Help!!!

Can you guys plz help me out here, because i want to play ff8, but it won't start. when i start the game the screen is just black or it's black with a controller on the top right. i have the espxe 1.70 version. plz help me out people thanks!!!! and the video below will show you the setting that i got on my computer and epsxe...
