I've been playing Marvel vs Capcom EX Edition on the ePSXe with no video, sound, or technical problems and it's been a blast. My only issue is that in the MvC videos on Youtube, people are able to pull off these multi-hit combos that can go all the way to hundred, while on my version, I can only perform (for example) an 8 hit air combo with Captain America and then I can't continue the combo afterwards. I've heard that these hyper combos are due to a hyper cancel feature within the EX edition, but I think the ePSXe lacks the hyper cancel function.
I'm using the keyboard for my controller. Do I need to buy a PS -> usb controller to perform hyper combos? Is it something to do with the frame rate?
