In gran turismo at the start of a race or test when it said "start"
it would sometimes lock up, pretty sure it was coz of the music.

When i went to options and played a song it would lock up on certain tracks.

I turned the music right down in option and it seems to have stoped it from locking up.

But can anyone recommend what i can do to get music back without it locking up.
I've tryed all that disable cdrom stuff and it wouldnt work.

hmmm Sounds like an SPU Issue with XA Audio! Are you using Iori's Plugin? I've found that that locks sometimes if I use the "Wait until XA Buffer is Free" option!
Try turning this off or try another SPU!

If I remember correctly, you need to have "Enable accurate CDROM timing" enabled in the CDROM plugin configuration window, in order for GT to run correctly. Have you tried that yet?

i use the internal for gt. try messing w/ sound plugins.

I use Pete's CDR 1.06
I don't have GT, but it works with GT2 and all my other games.

Well even if you you do stop the lockups the music in the game on this emulator is glitchy anyways... keeps stoping halfway through and restarting... rather annoying. I leave the music off myself for this reason. Probably best to wait for the next version

try plaiyng it from an iso, it could help...
