EVANS MILLS MAN ARRESTED FOR PUBLIC EXPOSURE

An Evans Mills man was arrested Monday after being found naked sitting at a picnic table at the Northpole Fire Department. According to the Watertown Daily Times, 41-year-old Kenneth Walts was charged with public exposure and unlawful possession of marijuana after Northpole Fire Chief Timothy Lobdell witnessed him sitting at the bench naked as he was driving by the fire hall at about 11:45 PM Monday. Walts, who was “highly intoxicated” according to police, told them he was walking home and took off his clothing because he was hot.

During a search of his belongings, a pipe used for smoking marijuana and 4 grams of the drug were found in a backpack he was carrying. He is scheduled to answer the charges in the town of Pamelia court on June 30th.
