Mortal Kombat Trilogy help?

hello, Im Using Mortal Kombat trilogy For ePSXe, its an iso file. And i Need Help with like a secret in the game. Before you think this dosent belong here, hear me out. In The Menus, they say if you hold L1, R1, L2, R2, and Up and Game Konfigure, and little question sure turn blue and be accessed for hidden menus. Well, i Held It for like a minute, when they say it should only be for seconds, and nothing happened. Im thinking its an ISO of a different game console version, keep in mind this cheat has different controls for each console, and im also thinking ePSXe doesnt hold multiple button down? Cause when i try to get Chameleon, which happens if you hold like 5 certain buttons with a male ninja before the match starts. Nothing Happens. So im Either Thinking epSxe cant hold or its a different console version. And also when i hold these buttons down, the little beep beep noise comes from my computer and wont stop until i let go.
So that may be a problem. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
